THE NURTURING THE NURTURERS SERIES

NURTURING THE NURTURERS
A Program for Service Providers and Administrators
in the Professional Care-Giving or Medical Community

Scholars tell us great leadership is about listening, giving, and meeting the needs of others – which means that care-giving, is the highest form of leadership. However, this fact is often lost in the need for peak performance and the expanding needs of the individuals who rely on members of the care-giving community.

Dr. Teena Cahill, a care-giver in her personal life, combines her textbook knowledge with personal experience to teach that we must first practice self care and personal leadership if we are to have increased positive performance in the care-giving community.

Decades ago we spoke of stress-management, but today through research and greater understanding, we know that we can use skills and strategies to increase our innate ability to overcome adversity, to enhance wellness, and to find that solid platform of resilience on which our leadership skills, our peak performance and our greatest lives are built. Teena has years of experience in working with people and her insights, ideas, personal experiences, and fascinating content both educate and empower her audiences. She has a unique ability to reach people at many levels with her light hearted, funny, content rich and inspiring presentations.
